Our team is uniquely qualified and ready to help 

Every member of our team is professional and well trained. We conduct a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify the best home care providers, and only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of home care and become Comfort Keepers®. What truly sets our people apart, though, is their natural gift for caring for others. 

All Comfort Keepers pass extensive background checks and complete continuing education. They are bonded, insured and covered by workers' compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families.

David Coker

Franchise Owner since 2003

David opened his first Comfort Keepers office after he experienced the need for in-home care for a family member. Providing home care services for those who need assistance with activities of daily living became his passion. Eventually he expanded services by opening Offices in Sumter in 2008 and Columbia in 2013. He graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Biological Sciences in 1997. David and his wife Julie have three daughters. She is a Registered Nurse at McLeod Hospital.

Craig Goss

Marketing and Community Relations Manager

Craig manages Sales, Marketing and Community Relations.  In addition, he supervises Safety Choice products Sales and Service. Craig graduated from Francis Marion University with a BS in Sociology in 1988. His background is in the Social Work field with Pee Dee Mental Health and McLeod Home Health. He has been with Comfort Keepers since 2005.  

Brendretta Benjamin

External Care Coordinator

Brendretta began with Comfort Keepers as a Caregiver in 2003.  In 2008 she was promoted to Field Supervisor  for the Pee Dee area to ensure the highest quality of care is provided.   She provides on-going support and supervision for caregivers.  In addition, she is involved with Caregiver Training, Orientation and implementing Safety Choice products. 

Julie Coker

Registered Nurse

Julie and David Coker have been married for 14 years and have three daughters.  Julie graduated from the University of South Carolina.  She is a Registered Nurse with McLeod Hospital.  Her support of David and Comfort Keepers has been instrumental to the growth and expansion of services.

Alisha Rowell

Operations Support and Sales Intake

Alisha has a dual role at Comfort Keepers; she assists both the Bookkeeping Dept and Sales Dept. She handles all Potential New Client Calls and coordinates home visits for our Sales Staff. She also works closely with our Bookkeeper to assist with administrative duties. She has been with Comfort Keepers since 2013.

Brandy Howell

Operations Team Manager

Brandy is responsible for Payroll and all Customer accounts including Billing and Invoicing. She also manages our Long Term Care claims and Workers compensation accounts. In addition, she handles all VA and Medicaid billing issues as well.  She has been with Comfort Keepers since 2007. 

Samantha Floyd

Operations Support

 Samantha started with Comfort Keepers in March of 2014. She handles all Medicaid/VA referrals and documentation needed to maintain compliance for all community based waiver programs. She also helps with any Billing Department needs, as well as Guardian Installations, Sales intake, and all social media accounts.

Patricia Johnson

Receptionist/Operations Support

Patricia coordinates all incoming calls and directs them to the appropriate department.  In addition, she greets all employees and visitors on a daily basis. She also handles all of our time sheets from all offices, and files them. Patricia organizes office supply orders and inventory as well. Patricia has been with Comfort Keepers since 2011.

Megan Hill

Internal Care Coordinator

Megan is responsible for maintaining communication with clients and caregivers regarding all their scheduling needs including filling shifts and documentation.   She handles after hours Scheduling concerns and any issues that may arise for clients or caregivers. Megan has been with Comfort Keepers since October 2017.

Danielle Larymore

Care Team Manager

Danielle manages the care team which includes supervising both the Internal and External Care Coordinators.  Her background is in Healthcare Administration with Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center and The Medical Group.  In 2014, Danielle graduated from Florence Darlington Technical College with an Associate in Science in addition to an Associate in Arts. She then obtained her Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Management in 2016 from South University.  She has been with Comfort Keepers since May,2017. 

Shnette Damon

Internal Care Coordinator

Shnette has been employed with Comfort Keepers since 2008. Shnette is responsible for maintaining communication with clients and caregivers regarding all their scheduling needs. Shnette is responsible for filling shifts, and documentation

Angela Hicks

External Care Coordinator

Angela is responsible for maintaining communication with clients and caregivers regarding all their scheduling needs including filling shifts and documentation.   She handles after hours Scheduling concerns and any issues that may arise for clients or caregivers. Angela has been with Comfort Keepers since 2016.
