David Coker


David Coker, owner of the Florence and Sumter Comfort Keepers offices since 2003, knows from personal experience the support families need when caring for an elderly loved one who requires assistance at home.

When his grandmother became ill, his family was challenged to care for her in their daily schedules. This experience opened his eyes to the need for full-time,professional caregivers who could lend families a hand and make caregiving less stressful and more fulfilling.

At the same time, he was looking for a more personally rewarding career, and he and his wife, who is a nurse, saw this as a calling for him to own and operate an in-home care business. After considering a variety of in-home care franchises, he chose Comfort Keepers.

David saw Comfort Keepers as a fast-growing company that is in business for the right reasons.
