Every member of our team is professional and well trained. We conduct a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify the best home care providers, and only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of home care and become Comfort Keepers®. What truly sets our people apart, though, is their natural gift for caring for others. 

All Comfort Keepers pass extensive background checks and complete continuing education. They are bonded, insured and covered by workers' compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families.

David Coker

Franchise Owner since 2003

David opened his first Comfort Keepers office after he experienced the need for in-home care for a family member. Providing home care services for those who need assistance with activities of daily living became his passion. Eventually he expanded services by opening Offices in Sumter in 2008 and Columbia in 2013. He graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Biological Sciences in 1997. David and his wife Julie have three daughters. She is a Registered Nurse at McLeod Hospital.

Craig Goss

Marketing and Community Relations Manager

Craig is responsible for Sales, Marketing and Community Education regarding services offered by Comfort Keepers.  He graduated from Francis Marion University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 1988 and has 20 years of experience in the Healthcare Field.  He is a Veteran of the Gulf War and has been with Comfort Keepers since December 2005.  

Brendretta Benjamin

External Care Coordinator

Brendretta began with Comfort Keepers as a Caregiver in 2003.  In 2008 she was promoted to Field Supervisor for the Pee Dee area to ensure the highest quality of care is provided.   She provides on-going support and supervision for caregivers.  In addition, she is involved with Caregiver Training, Orientation and implementing Safety Choice products.  Employee of the Quarter winner September 2017.  

Julie Coker

Registered Nurse

Julie and David Coker have been married for 14 years and have three daughters.  Julie graduated from the University of South Carolina.  She is a Registered Nurse with McLeod Hospital.  Her support of David and Comfort Keepers has been instrumental to the growth and expansion of services.

Alisha Rowell

Operations Support and Sales Intake

Alisha has a dual role in both Bookkeeping and the Sales Department. She handles all Potential New Client inquiries and coordinates in-home consultations for our Sales Team. She also works closely with our Bookkeeper to assist with payroll and administrative duties. She has been with Comfort Keepers since 2013.  Employee of the Quarter winner March 2018.

Brandy Howell

Operations Team Manager

Brandy is responsible for Payroll and all Customer accounts including Billing and Invoicing. She also manages our Long Term Care claims and Workers compensation accounts. In addition, she handles all VA and Medicaid billing issues as well.  She has been with Comfort Keepers since 2007. 

Samantha Floyd

Operations Support

Samantha has been with Comfort Keepers since March 2014. She is a Certified Advanced Nursing Assistant, and Phlebotomist. She manages all Medicaid and VA referrals/clients.  In addition, she maintains appropriate documentation to ensure compliance for all community based waiver programs. She also assists the Billing Department, the Sales Team and manages all social media accounts as well.  

Patricia Johnson

Receptionist/Operations Support

Patricia coordinates all incoming calls and directs them to the appropriate department.  In addition, she greets all employees and visitors on a daily basis. She also handles all of our time sheets from all offices, and files them. Patricia organizes office supply orders and inventory as well. Patricia has been with Comfort Keepers since 2011.

Megan Hill

Internal Care Coordinator

Megan is responsible for maintaining communication with clients and caregivers regarding all their scheduling needs including filling shifts and documentation.   She handles after hours Scheduling concerns and any issues that may arise for clients or caregivers. Megan has been with Comfort Keepers since October 2017.

Danielle Larymore

Care Team Manager

Danielle manages the care team which includes supervising both the Internal and External Care Coordinators.  Her background is in Healthcare Administration with Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center and The Medical Group.  In 2014, Danielle graduated from Florence Darlington Technical College with an Associate in Science in addition to an Associate in Arts. She then obtained her Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Management in 2016 from South University.  She has been with Comfort Keepers since May,2017. 

Shnette Damon

Internal Care Coordinator

Shnette has been employed with Comfort Keepers since 2008. She is responsible for maintaining communication with clients and caregivers regarding all their scheduling needs and maintaining appropriate documentation.  Employee of the Quarter winner December 2017.  

Angela Hicks

External Care Coordinator

Angela is responsible for maintaining communication with clients and caregivers regarding all their scheduling needs including filling shifts and documentation.   She handles after hours Scheduling concerns and any issues that may arise for clients or caregivers. Angela has been with Comfort Keepers since 2016.

Megan Kosinski

Human Resources Support

Megan is responsible for recruiting and screening qualified candidates for employment.  Megan provides our Comfort Keepers with a thorough Orientation and On-boarding process as well.  She also attends job fairs to promote Comfort Keepers in the community.  Megan has been with Comfort Keepers since October 2012.  

Brittany Bell

Registered Nurse/ External Care Coordinator

Brittany has 5 years experience in the Healthcare Field. She has obtained an Associates Degree of Science Majoring in Nursing and is a Registered Nurse. She also has an Associates Degree of Arts majoring in Criminal Justice.   She is married and has three children.  She has been with Comfort Keepers since February 2018.  Brittany provides on-going support and supervision for Caregivers and Clients.  In addition, she conducts Nursing Evaluations and Assessments to ensure quality of care and maintains appropriate documentation as well.  

Chelsie Smith

Internal Care Coordinator

Chelsie has 10 years of experience in the Healthcare Field and has been with Comfort Keepers since April 2018.  She is married and has two children.  Chelsie is responsible for maintaining communication with clients and caregivers regarding their weekly schedules, in-home care needs and maintains appropriate documentation.
