Every member of our team is professional and well trained. We conduct a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify the best home care providers, and only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of home care and become Comfort Keepers®. What truly sets our people apart, though, is their natural gift for caring for others. 

All Comfort Keepers pass extensive background checks and complete continuing education. They are bonded, insured and covered by workers' compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families.

David Coker

Franchise Owner since 2003 in Florence, Sumter, Columbia and Charleston

David and his wife Julie married in 2000 and have three children.  They opened their first Comfort Keepers office in Florence in 2003.  Eventually he expanded services by opening Offices in Sumter in 2008, Columbia in 2013 and Charleston in 2019.  David graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in 1997.  

Julie Coker

Registered Nurse

Julie and David Coker were married in 2000 and have three daughters Anna, Kate and Morgan.  She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1999.  Julie is a RN with McLeod Hospital NICU and has been very supportive of Comfort Keepers growth.  

Craig Goss

Sales, Marketing and Community Relations Manager

Craig has been with Comfort Keepers since 2005.  He coordinates all Marketing strategies in Florence, Sumter, Columbia and Charleston.  Craig graduated from Francis Marion University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 1988.  He is a Veteran of the Gulf War 1990-91.   

Alisha Rowell

Sales Intake Coordinator

Alisha has been with Comfort Keepers since 2013.  She was awarded the Employee of the Quarter honor in March 2018.  Alisha coordinates all Sales Intake calls from Healthcare Providers and potential customers.  She also promotes Comfort Keepers events and services through Social Media. 

Brandy Howell

Accounting Specialist

Brandy has many years of experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping.  She is responsible for Payroll and all Customer accounts including Billing and Invoicing. She also manages our Long Term Care claims and Workers compensation accounts. She has been with Comfort Keepers since 2007. 

Misty White


Misty joined our Comfort Keepers in February 2019.  She handles payroll and billing.  Misty brings many skills and talents to our Team.  She has 14 years of Accounting experience and over 5 years in Human Resources.  

Angela Hicks

Community Medicaid Waiver Programs Specialist

Angela handles all Medicaid  Community Waiver Program referrals and authorizations.  In addition, she maintains appropriate documentation to ensure compliance for all community based waiver programs and provides excellent customer service.

Danielle Larymore

Operations Officer

Danielle's background is in Healthcare Administration with Carolina Pines and The Medical Group.  In 2014, she graduated from Florence Darlington Technical College with an Associate in Science and Associate in Arts. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Management in 2016 from South University.  She has been with Comfort Keepers since May 2017. 

Charlotte Hamilton

Care Team Manager

Charlotte is responsible for Supervising the Internal and External Care Teams.   She also supervises weekly communication with clients and caregivers regarding their weekly schedules, in-home care needs and maintains appropriate documentation.  

Brendretta Benjamin

External Care Coordinator

Brendretta has been with Comfort Keepers since it first opened in 2003.  In 2008 she was promoted to Field Supervisor for the Pee Dee area to ensure the highest quality of care is provided.   She provides on-going weekly support for clients and caregivers.  In addition, she is involved with Caregiver Training and Orientation.  Employee of the Quarter winner September 2017.  

Kortney Wilkerson

External Care Coordinator

Kortney joined our Care Team in January 2019.  She graduated from McBee High School and has experience as a Caregiver.  She works closely with clients and caregivers to ensure the highest quality of care is provided in their home.  In her spare time she enjoys movies, reading, poetry and music.  

Megan Kosinski

Recruitment Manager

Megan has been with Comfort Keepers since October 2012.  Megan is responsible for Supervising the Recruiting Team.  Megan also provides our new Comfort Keepers with a thorough Orientation and On-boarding process.  She also attends job fairs to promote Comfort Keepers in the community.  

Shnette Damon

Internal Care Coordinator

Shnette has been with Comfort Keepers since 2008. She is responsible for maintaining communication with clients, team members, caregivers and providing receptionist support as well.  She received the Employee of the Quarter award in December 2017.  

Lana Howell

Operations support/ Receptionist

Lana has been with Comfort Keepers since September 2017.  She is involved with many aspects of Comfort Keepers including assisting Applicants, providing Customer Service and many other front office duties.  She is a great asset to everyone and always has a cheerful smile.  

Kelsey Oneal

Sales Intake Coordinator

Kelsey joined our Comfort Keepers team in July 2018.  She provides detailed information to potential new clients about our services.  Kelsey does an excellent job with offering solutions to assist families with their decisions regarding in-home care for their loved-ones.  

Nicole Grimsley

Internal Care Coordinator

Nicole joined our Comfort Keepers Team in September 2019.  She is responsible for maintaining daily communication with clients and caregivers to ensure their scheduling needs are met and all concerns that may occur are resolved.  Nicole is married and has two children.  She has an Associate degree in Science and her background is in Office Management.  Her hobbies include yoga, traveling and tennis.

JoAnn Ross

Recruitment Coordinator

JoAnn joined our Comfort Keepers team in October 2019.  She actively recruits, screens and hires qualified Caregivers to provide our clients with excellent in-home care.  JoAnn is originally from Guyana, South America. She has 2 children, and enjoys traveling and singing.  Paralegal Degree from Florence Darlington Technical College and her background is with Pee Dee Center - Disabilities and Special Needs, Law Office of Linward Edwards and JP Morgan Chase. 

Brittany Morrell

Registered Nurse

Brittany has been with Comfort Keepers since 2017.  She has an Associate Degree in Nursing and is Currently enrolled in Western Governors University working on her Master's Degree.  She has been in the  medical field since 2012.  She conducts Nursing Assessments and provides her skilled expertise to all our clients and staff.

Alana Buddin

Operations Support Specialist

Alana joined the Comfort Keepers team in September 2019.  She recently transitioned from her Caregiver position to providing assistance with multiple clerical and receptionists functions in the Office.  In 2015 she enrolled in the nursing program at FDTC.  In the near future she will transition from nursing to their Healthcare Administration program.  In her spare time she enjoys baking and making new friends.
